From 1975 until 1979, 2101 traveled throughout the Chessie System

2101 is an ex Reading T-1 class steam engine
Built in 1923 by Baldwin it was sold for scrap in 1965
It was rescued by Ross Rowland and restored in 1974
2101 was used on The American Freedom Train in 1975
In 1979, 2101 was severely damaged in a roundhouse fire
2101 is now on display at the B&O Museum painted in American Freedom Train colors
